Networks and platforms
Deployment patterns for small production environments, remote administration, segmentation, DNS, reverse proxies, TLS, and service health.
Independent systems lab / New Jersey
CodedByZero develops practical infrastructure, automation, security operations, and internal tools. The goal is not more technology—it is a system that is easier to run, recover, and improve.

Capability map
Most failures do not live in one layer. A useful solution connects the network, host, application, access model, monitoring, documentation, and recovery path without making any one of them mysterious.
Deployment patterns for small production environments, remote administration, segmentation, DNS, reverse proxies, TLS, and service health.
Least-privilege access, practical hardening, event visibility, validation, and recovery-minded operations.
PowerShell, Python, Bash, and structured workflows that replace fragile manual procedures with checked, understandable steps.
Focused dashboards, project operations, maintenance utilities, and integrations designed around the people using them.
Selected builds
These are active systems and completed utilities—not invented client case studies. The project pages distinguish experiments, operational tools, and ongoing product work.
A self-hosted project and operations platform with ticketing, knowledge workflows, planning, staged releases, maintenance tooling, backups, and AI-assisted development paths.
A DigitalOcean-hosted, Cloudflare-fronted web stack with port-isolated services, Nginx routing, TLS, private administration, backups, and verified deployments.
A Python bot for server structure, roles, auditing, member operations, direct-message administration, and service management.
Operating discipline
The standard is maintainability: a human-readable structure, a defined source of truth, safe changes, visible failure, and enough documentation for someone else to continue the work.
Names and structure should explain the system before a comment has to.
Back up first, change narrowly, validate, and keep a known route back.
Health, logs, state, and failure should be visible to the operator.
A system should not depend on one person remembering how it works.
